Strawberry Basil Sorbet


3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled.
4 or 5 fresh basil leaves, torn.
1 cup sugar.
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp vodka 😜
1 cup ice cubes
Aged balsamic vinegar (optional) for serving.

Place ingredients in blender and purée until dissolved.

Transfer contents into a shallow dish, cover and place in freezer for two to three hours.

Scoop sorbet into bowls, garnish with a few small basil leaves, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and serve.
